We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Construction Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse range of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. You will be the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, and will be responsible for maintaining a positive image of our company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated individual with a strong background in construction management to further develop their career in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects from conception to completion.
Prepare and manage project budgets and cost estimates.
Negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
Review and understand AIA Contracts.
Manage contract and insurance issues.
Use construction software to track project progress and manage resources.
Maintain a positive company image through client-facing communication and negotiation.
Track materials, manage inventory, and order supplies as needed.
Approve invoices and manage project billing.
Plan manpower requirements and schedule workers for each phase of the project.
Ensure all work adheres to quality standards, building codes, and specifications.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
Resolve any problems or issues that arise during construction.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction management.
Proficient in using construction software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong negotiation and budgeting skills.
Familiarity with AIA Contracts and contract management.
Experience with coatings, cost management, and time management.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage project set up and project billing.
Experience in tracking materials, inventory management, and ordering supplies.
Demonstrated ability in invoice approvals and manpower planning.
Self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently and make decisions.
Proven track record of maintaining a positive image branding.
Excellent client-facing communication skills.
