Scopes of work range from minor BMS/EPMS upgrades to complex multidisciplinary scopes involving multiple trades. About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to serve primarily as a Foreman/Superintendent, responsible for overseeing internal and subcontractor crews on data center construction and upgrade projects. Scopes of work range from minor BMS/EPMS upgrades to complex multidisciplinary scopes involving multiple trades. This is a field-based role requiring a hands-on leader with mission-critical construction experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- On-Site Leadership: Manage daily construction activities for internal teams and subcontractors
- Safety First: Champion a safe working environment, adhering to OSHA standards and company policies
- Project Execution: Plan, schedule, and coordinate multidisciplinary scopes, including BMS, EPMS, electrical, mechanical, and structural systems
- Client & Team Coordination: Facilitate project submittals, site logistics plans, and as-built documentation
- Problem Solving: Address RFIs and technical issues, providing solutions to ensure seamless project delivery
- Reporting & Updates: Communicate schedule and construction progress to project management teams
- Client Relations: Maintain and enhance positive relationships with customers and stakeholders
Required:
- 3-5+ years of mission-critical/data center construction experience, including live environments
- Expertise in electrical, mechanical, structural, and architectural trades
- Strong familiarity with BMS and EPMS systems, from construction to commissioning
- Current OSHA 30 certification
- Proven ability to work in dynamic team environments with multiple stakeholders
- Strong multitasking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel to project sites and pass background checks
- US citizenship (required for security clearances)
Preferred:
- Experience supporting telecom infrastructure projects
- Background in industrial construction methods and managing multidisciplinary teams

Work Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible hours (start as early as 6:30 AM)
- Worksite: On-site position in Northern Virginia (Ashburn area)
- Overtime: Minimal expected
Background & Screening:
- Background Check: 10 years (includes DMV, employment verification)
- Drug Screen: 10-panel test (no alcohol)
