Job Posting: Construction Manager - Custom Home Builder
Location:
- Columbus, Ohio (Primary Work Area) - Managing Homes on-site within an hour of downtown Columbus in all directions.
- Pittsburgh, PA (Main Office) - 2 nights a week during training - 6 months / 2 days a month after training for meetings.
Salary
- $100,000 - $160,000 - We are open to hearing your salary requirements. We will select the best person for the position considering all aspects including salary.
Advancement. - If you excel at this role in all aspects and also show that you have leadership qualities according to PCH Management team , there will be a possible opportunity to lead the construction Team in our Columbus Market. Timeline TBD. We require our Senior Level Management team to be able to "walk the talk" and learn the processes and SOPs at the project manager position first before leading a team.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Project Manager / Superintendent to join our team who feels they have the potential to run our Construction Team in the Future. . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment and is eager to grow within our company. You will initially start as a Superintendent and on-site Project Manager, responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring quality control, and managing contractor schedules and material logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- On-Site Management: Oversee day-to-day construction activities, including scheduling contractors, coordinating material deliveries, and ensuring quality control.
- Contractor Coordination: Train and manage contractors to maintain our high standards of craftsmanship and efficiency.
- Quality Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all work meets the companys quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
- Warranty Management: Address and resolve warranty requests, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely completion.
- Punch-Out Work: Perform minor finishing tasks to ensure homes are move-in ready.
- Travel: Attend training at our Pittsburgh office for 2 nights a week during the first 6 months. 2x per month after training for company meetings.
Qualifications:
- Strong Communication Skills
- Strong Work Ethic & desire to succeed
- Proven experience in construction management, preferably in custom home building.
- and / or Bachelors' degree in construction management and / or Business
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Willingness to travel and drive frequently between job sites.
- Passionate about delivering high-quality homes and excellent customer service.
