Construction Manager - Insight Global

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in a service/installation/construction related field/industry in a general management/leadership role, preferably with 20+ direct reports

• Ability to do and manage commercial construction takeoffs and estimates

• Experience managing P&L and financial budgets

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), leadership skills, work ethic, and a positive, proactive nature

• Ability to treat others with respect and gain trust and respect from subordinates, supervisors, and customers

• Basic experience with computer operations and appropriate software (preferably Google G-Suite)

• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Degree in Business Management or equivalent is preferred

• Previous experience in a Sales or Sales Management position

• Experience in Commercial Fencing

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Experienced General Manager from the Construction Industry! Our client is the industry leader in fence contracting. Total earning opportunity for this position is $300-400k with a base salary of $80-100k plus full benefits. The General Manager to direct and manage our client's business activities and to develop and implement effective business strategies and programs. You will oversee a team ranging from Office Operations professionals to Sales Associates and Warehouse personnel. While the company's revenue is primarily driven by residential fencing today, they are seeking a leader that can help expand their commercial portfolio. The office is located in Brookfield, CT and the role will require traveling around the Western Connecticut, New Haven, and Westchester area.
