About the Job

Kforce has a client in need of a Construction Project Manager located in Austin, TX. Summary: As a Construction Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and executing construction projects from start to finish. You will work closely with your project team, design team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Your technical expertise, organizational skills, and ability to effectively communicate will be key in coordinating and facilitating various aspects of the construction process. Duties Include:

Development of project plans, schedules, and budgets
Coordinate with the project superintendents to establish project objectives, deliverables, and timelines
Collaborate with the design team, architects, and engineers to review plans, specifications, and drawings
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, local authorities, and industry standards
Track site execution and inspections to ensure work is performed according to safety guidelines and quality standards
Expedite solutions to design clashes while coordinating with design team for best path forward

Requirements:

4-10 years of experience minimum with a with sense of urgency
P6
Excel
Bluebeam
MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)
Electrical/Mechanical top choice; But wouldn't disqualify others
Value with CSA Civil Structural Architectural (secondary)
Shutdown experience highly preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
