Position:

The Flare Construcion Intern will observe, monitor, and report on fieldwork, verify schedule updates, and attend weekly internal and external meetings. This is an education position, intended to provide broad exposure to the construction industry.

The Construction Management Engineer Intern will support the Project Manager, Superintendents, and Project Executives, to manage the civil and natural gas project(s) and can include high-pressure gas lines, regulator stations, anomaly digs, intermediate high-pressure, gas infrastructure maintenance, civil, and remediation.

Tasks Include:

• Analyze and interpret detailed drawings and specifications.
• Draft scope letters, proposals, and vendor solicitations.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
• Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening(s).
• E-Verify check required.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, and applicable Engineering programs.
• Good written and oral communication.
• Must be able to interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans & profiles.
• Degree in associated field preferred or actively enrolled in construction management, engineering, or business management program.
