Construction Lead Estimator - Gpac

Our client, a local General Contractor with a great reputation, is Seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join the team.

Estimator Responsibilities:

- Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects.- Obtain and compare quotes for labor, equipment, and materials from subcontractors and suppliers.- Prepare and submit project bids and proposals.- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure successful project completion.- Maintain accurate estimating records and provide ongoing analysis to improve project performance.

Estimator Job Functions:- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.- Understanding of construction methods and materials.- Strong communication and negotiation skills.- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction estimating software.

Estimator Skills:- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating.- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The Construction Estimator position offers a salary range of $80,000 - $125,000, as well as benefits including medical coverage and a 401(k) plan.
