Role Overview:
Join the front lines of precision and data collection at STRACK Inc. As a vital member of our Survey Field Crew, you'll play a crucial role in delivering accurate layouts and data for our projects. This position demands a strong technical foundation, a keen eye for detail, and proficiency in mathematics to ensure the highest accuracy and efficiency in surveying operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Layout and Data Collection: Perform essential surveying tasks to gather precise measurements critical to project success.
- Precision Execution: Execute duties with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and excellence in all surveying activities.
- Technical Aptitude: Operate and manage surveying tools and equipment effectively to achieve seamless data acquisition.
- Mathematical Proficiency: Conduct accurate calculations to support data collection, maintaining alignment with industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to foster a cohesive and efficient working environment.
- Adaptability: Tackle diverse site conditions and challenges with a resourceful and problem-solving mindset.
- Equipment Maintenance: We care for and maintain surveying equipment, including Machine Control systems, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical foundation in surveying or a related field.
- Proficiency in mathematics, particularly geometry and trigonometry.
- Familiarity with surveying equipment and tools (total stations, GPS, etc.).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Adaptability and problem-solving capabilities in dynamic environments.
- Previous field surveying experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Essential Requirements:

- Must be willing and able to travel out of town or out of state to work on job sites.
- Must have good work ethics: Be on time, Work hard, and be willing to learn.
- Must have reliable transportation.

- Outstanding people skills, team player, and ability to lead others.
- Effective communication skills.
- Possesses keen observation skills; pays attention to and remembers work-related instructions, demonstrations, and procedures.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Must be willing to work Monday through Friday, 7 AM-5:30 PM, and Saturdays when needed.
- The Survey Manager will communicate the schedule.
