Position Summary for the Construction Laborer - Residential Plumbing - Drain Technician:
As a Drain Technician with our client, a leading residential Plumbing contractor in the Kansas City Area, you will be a vital member of their team, responsible for providing top-notch drain cleaning services to their customers. You will handle a variety of tasks, including cleaning drains, jetting, and performing cable work during service calls. Your role will also involve educating customers on the significance of sewer repair and replacement, ensuring they understand the services provided and the value of maintaining their sewer systems. You will be expected to protect and maintain your equipment and keep your truck well-stocked with necessary tools and inventory.
Key Responsibilities of a Construction Laborer - Residential PlumbingDrain Technician:
- Perform all drain cleaning, jetting, and cable work related to in-home service calls, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
- Educate and assist customers on the importance of sewer repair and replacement, providing them with valuable information to help them make informed decisions about their sewer systems.
- Protect and maintain drain cleaning equipment, ensuring that all tools are in good working condition. Keep your truck well-inventoried, ensuring you have all necessary supplies for each job.
What You Will Bring to the Team as a Construction Laborer - Residential Plumbing Drain Technician:
- Preferred previous experience as a Drain Technician on residential properties, demonstrating your expertise and reliability in the field.
- Willing to train entry-level Technicians who show an interest in and ability to perform the work.
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks, ensuring the successful completion of all job requirements.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, demonstrating resilience and dedication to the job.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, allowing you to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Flexible availability to accommodate various work schedules, including emergencies and after-hours calls when necessary.
- Working proficiency and ability to use a computer and/or tablet for scheduling, reporting, and other job-related tasks.
