Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** **Tishman** is seeking a **Construction Intern** to be based in **New York, New York** . The job is expected to begin in the summer of 2024. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: + Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional. + Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a similar field with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating. + Candidates must have completed one year of study in their program. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience working for a large general contractor. + Previous relevant internship experience. + Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook), as well as exposure to other construction-based computer programs. **Additional Information** + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. + Relocation assistance is available for this position. + Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. + Offered rate of compensation ( **New York** locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is **$18.00 - $25.00/hr** . Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
