As Gannett Fleming continues to expand our client and project portfolio in the West Region, we are excited to identify an experienced Construction Inspector to inspect medium to large scale Water / Wastewater related projects throughout Southern CA. Need a background in Electrical and SCADA!

Responsibilities:

• Serves as a construction inspector on water / wasterwater projects under the general supervision of the resident engineer.
• Tracks and inspects daily activities of the contractor, measuring completed items of work and recording them for payment.
• Determines when the project materials and procedures are not in compliance with project plans or specifications. Submits daily diaries or inspection logs, detailing all daily activities, labor, and equipment.
• Inspects traffic control and other worksite items for safety and compliance to standards.
• Coordinates with the contractor and general public, as necessary, to facilitate construction operations.
• Electrical power distribution for plant upgrades and associated instrumentation/control/SCADA related upgrades

Minimum Qualifications 

• 5+ years of experience inspecting water, wasterwater, treatment,  pipeline, pump stations, and reservoirs.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associates Degree in construction or technically related field preferred
• Valid Driver’s license required
• Experience with water and wastewater treatment plant rehabilitation projects is required
• Prior experience working on SCADA Projects a PLUS!
• Minimum 5-10 years experience in Field inspection required
• Must possess OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certification or the ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
