Construction Inspector - Dewberry

Dewberry is seeking multiple Construction Inspectors to work on projects in the greater NYC metropolitan area. To qualify, candidates must have prior construction inspection experience on NYCDDC and/or NYSTA projects and possess NICET II, III or IV Certification in Transportation/Highway and Bridge Construction or equivalent; DDC Water Main Training, NJSAT, ACI and Rutgers TCC certifications and knowledge of SiteManager are also desirable. Additional requirements include excellent communications skills, ability to read and interpret plans and specifications, and ability to perform complex quantity and engineering computations.

• 5 to 10 years prior construction inspection experience on NYCDDC or NYSTA projects.
• Must possess NICET II, III or IV Certification in Transportation/Highway and Bridge Construction or equivalent.
• OSHA 10 hour certification
• DDC Water Main Training, NJSAT, ACI and Rutgers TCC certifications and knowledge of SiteManager are also desirable.
• Additional requirements include excellent communications skills, ability to read and interpret plans and specifications, and ability to perform complex quantity and engineering computations.
• Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrains.
• Ability to repetitively stoop, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 25 lbs; includes body weight, equipment, tools and boxes, in addition to ability to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

The projected range for this position is $83,000-$150,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly. These ranges are for NY only.
