Ardurra is seeking a Construction Inspector/Engineerto join our Public Works team primarily working remotely in Chelan, WA.
*This position is open to both permanent and seasonal opportunities to be paid on an hourly or salary basis.
Primary Function
Due to exciting growth, Ardurra is seeking a Construction Inspector/Engineer to join our Public Works Group. Candidate will work remotely in Chelan, WA through the 2025 construction season during upgrades to existing water and sewer pipelines. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in water and/or wastewater projects, observing contractor construction activities, and reviewing work for compliance with drawings and specifications. Knowledge of, and ability to interpret, technical specifications, contract requirements, engineering drawings, and standard construction details are critical requirements of the position.
Primary Duties
- Responsibilities will include observing that the work is completed in general accordance with the drawings and specifications.
- Daily field reporting, tracking contractor's installed quantities, witnessing tests, and documenting test results.
- Serving as liaison between Ardurra, the Owner and the contractor.
- Receives direction from Civil Engineering Manager.
- Review, logging and processing of Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, change order proposals, general correspondence, payment applications, and other related construction administration activities.
- Knowledge of water or sewer pipelines is strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and familiarity with operating smart devices and computer preferred.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years as a construction inspector or other related experience desired.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Construction Management related coursework / certifications may be substituted for construction experience.
- Background in utilities construction/inspections, including mechanical and piping construction preferred.

Salary Range
$25.00 to $40.00/Hour (DOE)
