Barranco Enterprises is a high quality service firm focused on integrity, honor, and excellent workmanship, is seeking a Construction Foreman Manager to better serve our customers which include convenience store chains, fast food chains, and major retail outlets.
Job Summary:
The Construction Foreman is a vital leadership role on the job site, responsible for overseeing a crew of workers, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. This position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and technical skills, as well as the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership:
Direct and supervise the work of a crew of skilled and unskilled laborers.
Delegate tasks, provide clear instructions, and monitor progress.
Ensure work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Motivate and mentor team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Project Execution:
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
Plan and coordinate daily work activities, ensuring efficient use of resources and time.
Monitor work quality and address any deficiencies promptly.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and labor hours.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforce safety regulations and ensure the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
Report and investigate any accidents or incidents.
Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental and building codes.
Communication and Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with the Superintendent, Project Manager, and other stakeholders.
Provide updates on project progress, potential issues, and resource needs.
Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
Problem-Solving:
Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise on the job site.
Troubleshoot technical problems and implement solutions.
Make decisions in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant trade certifications preferred.
Proven experience as a Foreman or similar leadership role in the construction or related industry.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Commitment to safety and quality.
Physical Demands:
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting, carrying, and climbing.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Schedule:
8 hour shift - Can turn into 8-12 hour shifts.
Day shift - Can turn into some night shifts.
Monday to Friday - Can turn into weekends occasionally as well.
