Construction Financial Controller - DT Specialized Services

 Expectations of this Position:
Consistent application of accounting, finance, and management functions, to assist in the success of DT Specialized Services and McAfee Holding Group. Provide the leadership to create an accounting team that will provide healthy growth for the companies.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Manage the month-end closing process.
• Look for ways to continually streamline accounting and operational processes.
• Record journal entries and reconcile GL accounts.
• Develop, implement, and monitor adherence to accounting and operational procedures, controls, and policies.
• Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
• Prepare Special Reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Prepare in-house quarterly and year-end financial reports of multiple entities.
• Assist in payroll input, reporting, and job-cost tracking.
• Provide knowledge of federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports and advising management on needed actions.
• Manage weekly Accounts Payable process.
• Assist in Monthly Billing to owners and contractors.
• Track notes payable for multiple legal entities and report findings.
• Prepare monthly reports for bank and creditors.
• Assist in management of job costing system to track job profitability and cash flow analysis.
• Reconcile bank statements monthly.
• Assist in Accounts Receivable collections.
• Maintain an organized chart of accounts.
• Maintain an orderly accounting file system.
• Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of the company operations.
• Coordinate the information to external auditors.
• Assist in management of employee benefits.

Compensation Package:

• Salary annual to be disbursed weekly. This will be discussed in interview.
• The company will provide and pay for a cell phone and necessary office equipment, as needed.
• Company credit card for fuel used commuting to/from office, and purchases on behalf of the company.
• Medical benefits available after 60 days of full-time employment (BCBS of OK).
  • 100% of employee policy paid by company.
