Job Details
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with the project specifications and quality standards.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols on the construction site, ensuring the well-being and safety of all workers and visitors.
- Supervise and lead a team of construction workers and subcontractors, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
- Conduct regular quality control checks and inspections, identifying any issues or defects and taking immediate corrective action.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to resolve any technical issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates on the progress of the construction project and addressing any concerns or queries they may have.
- Continuously monitor and manage the project schedule, adjusting work assignments and resources as necessary to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in custom residential construction and homebuilding.
- Proven experience in managing high-end, custom home projects, with a strong focus on single-family homes.
- Demonstrated competency in safety management, site supervision, quality control, team leadership, problem-solving, communication, and time management.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and overcome challenges that can arise during the construction process.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex construction concepts to clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge and understanding of local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
- A commitment to quality and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that our homes are built to the highest standards of craftsmanship.
