Construction Estimator / Sales Representative - Legacy Metals LLC

This position will act as the single point of contact for our customers as we prepare quotes for materials and other costs related to building post framed buildings, Barndominium and houses. Position Summary:
The Construction Estimator / Sales Representative is responsible for building rapport with customers to help them understand our products and building practices. This position will work closely with customers to determine their building needs and help them decide structural features. The Construction Estimator / Sales Representative will also prepare customer quotes and be responsible for the successful signing of contracts and collection of down payments. 

Essential Functions:

• Preparing and quoting costs for construction of post frame buildings, Barndominium, and houses by considering the goals of the customer and studying plans and specifications.
• Works closely with customers, peers, engineers, CAD specialists, vendors, and other professionals to provide accurate quotes.
• Communicates with customers by in office meetings, phone, email, text and video conference to help customers understand building options and decide on a preferred structure.
• Develops bids for construction projects.
• Works closely with architects and other professionals.
• Schedules meetings with clients and staff.
• Records information into Project Management software and prepares itemized sales orders.
• Processes paperwork, accepts payments, reviews and signs contracts.

Job Requirements:

• High Scholl Diploma, GED (required)
• Three or more years of construction estimating, or related industry experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate computers, email, and various software such as project management and customer relationship management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong math skills including basic arithmetic.
• Ability to navigate specifications and plans.
• Proficiency in explaining proposals and projects.
• Ability to multitask and high attention to detail .
• Knowledge of the latest building codes helpful
• Experience with Project Management and/or Customer Relationship Management software a plus.

Legacy Metals LLC offers competitive wages contingent upon experience, education, and skills. Starting salary for this role is $65,000 before transitioning to commission-based after approximately 6 months.

This is an in-office position with an anticipated schedule of Monday - Friday from 7 am to 5 pm.
