The Estimator is a key position at PREM1ER, LLC. We are seeking a detail-oriented and well-organized multitasker to help with estimating and management, data entry for proposals, pricing, and review of bids with Project Management team. This position is responsible for revenue growth and profitability within this business segment for the company. We focus on relationships with our longstanding clients as well as new client development.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Download drawings, specs, and RFP’s.
- Create material takeoffs based on supplied drawings and specifications.
- Input takeoffs into bidding software
- Ensure drawings meet ADA and Fire rating requirements.
- Communicate with in-house purchasing department for pricing needs.
- Communicate with outside vendors for pricing needs.
- Communicate with sub-tier contractors through email to ensure bid accuracy.
- Communicate with project management team throughout all processes.
- Prepare project submittals for individual project needs.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- At least 3 years of estimating/sales experience in building material industry.
- Knowledgeable about multi-family capital expenditure projects such as rot repairs, window replacements, deck coating, exterior siding/paint, roofing, clubhouse renovations, etc.
- Intermediate to advanced aptitude in Microsoft products such as MS Project, Word, Excel, etc.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking are a must.
- Maintains accuracy and high job standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Works effectively with minimal supervision and in a team setting.
- Clear, effective communicator - both verbally and in writing
- Maintains good relationships with project management team, peers.
- Knowledge of one or more estimating software's.
- Must have multi-family estimating experience.
- Additional duties as assigned by Leadership.
Physical Demands:
While performing duties of the job, incumbent is sometimes required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee must sometimes lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
