Role Description

Capital City Stucco, Inc. is looking to hire a Commercial Construction Estimator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for seeking, estimating, and bidding projects. The candidate’s jobs tasks will include but are not limited to identifying bid opportunities, estimating projects, planning initial takeoffs, data entry, blueprint development/reading, contract establishment. You must be able to communicate with the rest of our team throughout the bidding process. Come join our growing team!

• Read Blueprints for potential jobs.

• Take off & bid projects using On Screen Take Off & Quick Bid.

• Follow up with potential bid prospects on projects.

• Log bids using Building Connected.

• Establish contract files if contract is awarded.

• Everyday communication with our team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated expertise in project estimation, including reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications
• Working knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and materials
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Professional certification as a Cost Estimator, such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) Certification, is a plus

• Minimum of 3-5 years of construction experience estimating Stucco/EIFS

• Proficient with On Center Software (On Screen Take Off & Quick Bid), Plan Swift

• Solid understanding of estimating principles

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Building Connected

Salary

$75K - $90 DOE
