We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Defect Attorney to join our team and handle complex litigation cases.
As a Construction Defect Attorney, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of construction defect matters from inception through trial or settlement. You will work closely with clients, expert witnesses, and other team members to develop legal strategies, pursue claims, and achieve favorable outcomes for plaintiffs.

We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Defect Attorney to join our team and handle complex litigation cases.
As a Construction Defect Attorney, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of construction defect matters from inception through trial or settlement. You will work closely with clients, expert witnesses, and other team members to develop legal strategies, pursue claims, and achieve favorable outcomes for plaintiffs.
- Handle all aspects of construction defect litigation on behalf of plaintiffs, including property owners, condominium associations, and homeowner associations.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Manage discovery processes, including depositions, document review, and interrogatories.
- Develop case strategies in collaboration with expert witnesses, including engineers, architects, and construction professionals.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on case progress and advise them on legal strategies.
- Ensure all legal work is completed in compliance with Florida state laws and court regulations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Florida Bar and in good standing.
- 3+ years of litigation experience with a focus on construction defect or complex civil litigation.
- Strong knowledge of Florida construction law, building codes, and related statutes.
- Trial experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage a large caseload and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Team player with a passion for advocating for plaintiffs in construction defect cases.
- Experience working with plaintiff-side construction defect litigation.
- Familiarity with South Florida's construction industry and common building practices.
- Experience managing experts in complex, multi-party litigation.
