We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, dealing directly with significant matters, and providing you with a chance to demonstrate your exceptional legal skills and passion for the law. As a Permanent Associate Attorney, you will be a crucial part of our team, handling complex commercial litigation matters, and contributing to the success and growth of our firm.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Associate Attorney, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Managing all aspects of commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution.
2. Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
3. Conducting and managing discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
4. Representing clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
5. Researching and analyzing complex legal issues and providing practical legal advice to clients.
6. Collaborating with other attorneys within the firm to develop case strategies.
7. Maintaining client relationships and providing excellent client service.
8. Participating in business development activities, including networking events and client meetings.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Associate Attorney position will have the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial litigation.
4. Exceptional research and writing skills.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
6. Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
8. Proficiency in using legal research platforms and other legal software.
9. Strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
10. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
