Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Coordinator with a focus on commercial and industrial renovations and facility improvements. This role requires someone with strong project management skills to oversee both capital and operating budgets, as well as the coordination of contractors and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the Capital and Operating Budgets.
- Develop KPIs and tools for tracking budget status.
- Provide project management support across non-manufacturing sites.
- Maintain project schedules, including tracking safety, cost, and performance.
- Prepare status reports on project progress, safety, and open issues.
- Manage contractor performance and ensure quality control adherence.
- Develop scope of work and review vendor submittals.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to monitor project progress.
- Evaluate and recommend decisions on change orders and contractor payments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
- 5+ years of construction project management experience.
- Strong budget management and technical knowledge in construction engineering.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, BlueBeam, and Microsoft Visio is a plus.
Additional Information:
- Onsite work required, with occasional travel (up to 10%).
- Overtime may be required (up to 10 hours/week), including weekends and holidays.
