About the Job
The Construction Coordinator performs a variety of administrative and accounting duties in addition to construction work in support of the enterprise facilities management.
Duties/Responsibilities:- Manages day-to day office operations including dispatch of staff to handle critical facility issues.
- Insures and prepares documentation for projects.
- Coordinates projects with vendors.
- Process invoices for payments and maintains records for capital projects to assure budgetary control.
- Assist office manager with daily tasks and a variety of office-related duties.
- Assists in procurement of materials for projects.
- Assists in maintenance of office supplies and equipment.
- Manages time well in order to be able to serve multiple persons.
- Coordinates meetings and subsequent minutes/correspondence.
- Performs duties with the appropriate level of self-motivation, independent judgment and willingness to work as a team requiring minimal supervision.
- Maintains statistical information regarding utility usage and costs for mechanical problem detection and cost containment for St. Claire HealthCare.

- Reviews and revises Facilities Management Department Policies as necessary.
- Handles confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of the methods, materials and practices of construction, renovation and inspection.
- Must be able to work successfully with all levels of management, staff, visitors, and vendors.
- Must be capable of moving about on construction work site, including walking on uneven ground and climbing ladders.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (both oral and written) and effective organizational skills are necessary.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office software and AutoCADD.
- Basic accounting and budgeting skills are necessary.
Minimum of High School Diploma required. Degree in construction management preferred.
Experience:Five years of construction experience with a minimum of three years office management experience preferred.
