Construction Contracts Administrator
A growing construction organization has a newly created Contracts Administrator role to support the contracts group. The position will sit onsite 5 days a week but allows 24 days of your choice to work remotely. You will collaborate with Estimators, Project Managers, and Accounting to manage and monitor all aspects of subcontracts, blanket purchase orders, change orders, and material purchase orders on multiple contract projects, including prequalification, completion and tracking of subcontract documents, and other requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares all subcontracts for all material purchase orders, and all change orders for contract work.
- Effectively communicates with subcontractors and project management to facilitate timely receipt of contract documents.
- Prepares and maintains status and compliance reports for management.
- Initiates and tracks pre-qualification process on all subcontractors.
- Generates and distributes RFPs for all blanket purchase orders.
- Issues and administers blanket purchases orders including procurement of general service items.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of administrative experience including exposure to contracts and POs
- Construction industry experience preferred
