Construction Contract Administrator (CM-CA) - SIRIS

Salary Range: $50,000 - $80,000 /year

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER - CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION - GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS

Seeking a Construction Contract Administrator to join our team to support a VA Construction Program at the VA Medical Center in Decatur, GA. The Construction Manager will report to a Program Manager as well as collaborate and assist VA client staff to provide data, and generate reports, as a representative for the client on major construction, seismic, real property, and other special projects.

Responsibilities:

This list is not considered all-inclusive and may be modified in specific task orders. The CM services will be used to support traditional Design-Bid-Build and Design/Build contracts.

i. Establishing temporary field offices

ii. Monitoring project financial data and budgetary cost accounting

v. Assisting in issue resolution.

vi. Testing and Inspection Services

vii. Commissioning

viii. Performing additional construction-related services

ix. Claims Analysis and Resolution Services

Qualifications:

• The Construction Administrator Manager may possess a degree from an accredited institution of higher learning and/or evidence work experience or knowledge to compensate for the absence of higher education. A minimum of six (6) years of construction work experience may be substituted and will be reviewed for acceptability.
• The Construction Manager shall possess a working knowledge of construction practices and call upon this knowledge to assist in implementing the various plans set forth on the project including Quality Assurance; Safety, Time, Cost, Change, and Information Management. They shall be familiar with the site operations of a General and Sub-contractor and the process of managing a building construction operation.
• The Construction Manager must have a working experience in monitoring the construction for Quality Assurance. The Construction Manager shall have experience in preparing, analyzing, and identifying incongruities and deficiencies in the contractor's work in relationship with the construction documents. In addition, they shall understand the baseline schedule and assist in determining the value of the acceptable work in place.
• The Construction Manager must possess Communication, Language, and Software Skills with the ability to utilize a variety of software programs to monitor, update, and produce work products and compile data and records by applying both knowledge of the construction industry and computer literacy.
