CSE Electric, and our sister company Exterra, are in high growth mode and we are looking for a qualified Business Development Representative (BDR) to continue building out our sales infrastructure.
The BDR will be our brand ambassador, or the first point of contact for our current and prospective customers. The BDR will engage with and qualify companies by showcasing our services in order to drive future sales. This role is ideal for self-motivated, flexible and outgoing people who really want to interact with the public and develop a sales focused role for CSE. This is a brand-new position to CSE, so while we have a good idea of what we want this person to do, this is also a huge opportunity for someone to make the position their own!
Some of the main responsibilities include:
Research and identify potential customers through online research, social media, and internal customer project data
Initiate outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn messages, and jobsite visits to generate new leads and schedule customers for qualified meetings with Account Managers using exceptional communication skills and storytelling about our brand
Represent the company at industry or community events such as San Antonio Manufacturers Association (SAMA), San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, and other events
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers, understanding their business needs and how our company can address them
Maintain Salesforce CRM with detailed data on leads, prospects, and sales activities, providing regular updates to Account Managers and company leadership
The position is a full-time, salaried/exempt level role. Compensation will start at $60,000 (or more, depending on experience), along with a variable compensation package based on qualified leads generated and meetings confirmed. The typical work schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, and is based in our home office (currently located at 127 Remount, San Antonio, TX 78218).
