About the Job
are looking for a full time, responsible Bookkeeper/Office administrator to join our construction office. The ideal candidate should have excellent time management skills, oral and written communication, be proficient in Microsoft Office suites and QuickBooks. Procore knowledge is a plus. At times, this position will require an assertive personality who takes the initiative to learn and be able to work independently. If you have experience as a bookkeeper/office administration with some construction knowledge, we'd like to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping using QuickBooks Desktop
- Preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Accounts Receivable and collections
- Setup and maintain pay application sites for invoicing
- Accounts Payable
- Keeping up with Insurance records and maintaining certificates of insurance
- Maintain a filing system
- Fleet management
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures
- Write and distribute email correspondence
- Knowledge of Taxes Laws
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper
- Working experience of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, Word, Quickbooks)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work, ability to follow-up in particular
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Pay DOE $28.00 to $30.00
