Construction Asst. Project Manager - Commercial Projects - Diamond Peak Recruiting

Position Overview:

The Assistant Project Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the project management team and overseeing the successful delivery of ground-up commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in the commercial construction space with a focus on ground-up projects, an understanding of project coordination, and a strong ability to manage timelines, budgets, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of ground-up commercial construction projects.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and team to ensure the successful delivery of projects, meeting all safety, quality, and budget objectives.
• Manage and track project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract documents.
• Help with maintaining project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of all milestones.
• Assist with procurement and coordination of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor and report on project budgets and financials.
• Assist in maintaining positive relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company standards, local regulations, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on ground-up projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, project scheduling, and budgeting.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software is a plus.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred but not required.
