Construction Assistant Project Manager at GPAC

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with project leadership to help deliver high-quality construction projects on time and within budget. This role is ideal for someone in the early stages of their career, eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative team focused on delivering the most recognized and impactful projects in the city.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects across various sectors.
• Support the management of project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
• Assist in coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and solving potential issues before they arise.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and assist with maintaining a safe and organized job site.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including change orders, daily reports, and other records.
• Work alongside senior team members in the mentorship and training process to develop your skills and experience in project management.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• 1 years of experience in the construction industry (internships or co-op experience acceptable).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for learning and developing a career in construction management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and industry best practices is a plus.
