A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

As Construction Administrative Assistant – Accounting Assistant, you are a number-crunching master who helps keep our company organized and our construction documents in order. No detail gets past you as you analyze various construction accounting documents, thoroughly track projects status, and coordinate our construction project(s) matters. You diligently handle our project billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, sending invoices to the appropriate parties and collecting payments we're owed.

Whenever we begin a new construction project, you process all the appropriate documents and get the job properly set up in our system. Eager to support your team, you assist with inbound and outbound calls, and you perform other duties as needed to help keep our company running smoothly. You find satisfaction in keeping our books organized and take pride in filling this essential role!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

• Administrative experience with a commercial construction company
• Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Knowledge about AIA billing, submittals, change orders, and processing licensing & permits for various municipalities
• Strong phone skills and customer relations
