The Opportunity
We're seeking a Conflicts Attorney to join one of our esteemed clients. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with ethical standards and firm policies while analyzing and resolving conflicts of interest on new business, lateral hires, and firm personnel. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional who thrives in a collaborative, high-performance environment.

What You'll Do

• Analyze and Resolve: Review conflicts of interest on new business and lateral hires, drafting waivers, consents, and providing guidance on ethical issues.
• Act as a Legal Advisor: Counsel firm lawyers on conflicts of interest and professional responsibility matters.
• Research and Draft: Conduct legal research, draft complex waivers, engagement letters, and joint representation letters, and prepare memoranda for firm leadership.
• Collaborate and Train: Work with firm managers and committees on sensitive ethical issues and provide training on conflicts and professional responsibility.
• Identify and Solve: Analyze complex factual situations, spot potential issues, and propose creative solutions to procedural and substantive challenges.
• Project Management: Manage time, prioritize tasks, and adapt to multiple deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You Bring to the Table

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of legal practice with strong knowledge of professional responsibility rules.
• Education: Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing in any jurisdiction.
• Skills: Exceptional legal research, writing, and communication skills; proficiency with MS Office.
• Critical Thinking: Strong eye for detail, ability to analyze data, and offer clear, concise solutions.
• Adaptability: Comfortable with change and decision-making in ambiguous situations.
• Preferred Experience: Knowledge of Intapp products (Conflicts, Intake, Walls, Terms), Elite 3E, and familiarity with litigation practices and law firm processes.

Your Skillset

• Ethical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of the Rules of Professional Conduct and jurisdictional nuances.
• Legal Research and Drafting: Strong ability to research, compile, and present complex legal information.
• Problem Solving: Creative and effective in identifying and resolving conflicts.
• Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills for working across teams and with leadership.
• Technology Proficiency: Competence with Intapp products and related software is a plus.
