About the Job
Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Configuration and Data Manager supporting a high priority acquisition mission within the Air Force. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Special Programs Division (AFLCMC/HNJ) provides sensitive command, control, communications, intelligence, and networks (C3I&N) and battle management (BM) capabilities from kinetic weaponry dominance to information dominance. The Division’s expansive customer base includes Air Force Special Access Program (SAP) communities, other Department of Defense (DoD) units, and national-level agencies. These customers increasingly require rapid fielding of advanced capabilities to counter emerging cyber and operational threats to U.S. national security.
This position is located at Hanscom, AFB.
Responsibilities:
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Tracks CDRL deliverables, letters, out-going briefings, 1067s, file plans, and action items Coordinates all meetings, both internally and externally, with high-level personnel
- Assists in the preparation of the Data management process documentation based on program requirements Maintains control of setting up classified VTCs
- Assists in the development and implementation of computer-based Data Management systems and electronic data support Works with security office to arrange for security clearances to be sent to appropriate agencies
- Reviews, comments, and updates (workflow) of complex programmatic, contractual, cost, test, and engineering documents Maintains schedules for all phase O conference rooms
- Resolves multi-individual and organizational comments by working with Government and outside personnel to interrupt and resolve comments greet and directs office visitors, answers main office phone, respond to directs requests for information and/or forward messages to appropriate staff
- Implements configuration management procedures, plans, and guidelines Proofreads information to be coordinated by or signed by staff.
- Maintains overall configuration control of all program documents including version control and assigning document reference numbers in accordance with established processes Maintains e- mail, daily announcements, and file plan to include SharePoint
- Records and monitor the resolution of action items of configuration control boards and holds boards on an as required basis
- Proficient in PC-based office tools, such as MS Office Suite, Adobe
- Experience in the generation of CM/DM requirements in tasking documents (SOOs, SOWs)
Qualifications:
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have an active Top Secret level clearance and be TS/SCI eligible
Education: BA/BS Degree
Years’ experience: 3-5 years of experience
Certifications: Industry CM/DM certified; post 90 days from start date
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: Industry CM/DM certified; must provide proof of certification
Interpersonal Skills:
- Working knowledge of the military structure and system acquisition
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Additional Information:
Location: Located onsite at Hanscom AFB with minimal remote flexibility
Travel: Minimal travel (within CONUS) up to 2-3 weeks per year

Please note: Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
