Configuration Management Compliance Technician from Innova Solutions

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Configuration Management Compliance Technician (Required: Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly).

Duration: 12+ Months

Location: Chantilly, VA 20151 (Onsite)

As a Configuration Management Compliance Technician, you will:

• Manage the IT-IA-IM baseline configuration for all-project related work for project oversight as well as office-level oversight and control.
• Develop policies for documenting and changing baseline project configuration items and processes.
• Participate in the evaluation of new network technologies and make recommendations to the network architecture team regarding the integration of these technologies into the existing network.
• Utilize complex network analysis tools to assist in identifying and remediating vulnerabilities throughout enterprise level services.
• Monitor security posture of the network using network compliance tools, report suspected violations to designated teams for mitigation.
• Support Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities and administer networks including hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations; providing training on such activities where required.
• Monitor the performance of compliance and auditing of network management systems to include troubleshooting device and network issues.
• Configure network devices using management tools and command line interfaces to ensure they follow DISA STIG guidelines.
• Interface with vendors, internal customers, and peers to schedule and coordinate work.
• Interface with and coordinate work taskings through customer managed ticket system.

Required qualifications include:

• Functional knowledge of MS Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Functional knowledge of system administrator roles and actions.
• Functional understanding of networking Operating Systems (OS) such as Cisco and Juniper.
• Familiar with terminal emulators, serial console, and network file transfer applications such as PuTTY, Xterm, WinSCP.
• Proficiency creating drawings using MS Visio.
• Have a working knowledge of complex routing protocols such as Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Border Gate Protocol (BGP), Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), etc.

Desired Qualifications:

• Ability to brief and communicate with team leadership, customers, and vendors.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Confluence team collaboration applications.
• Prior system administrator with knowledge of vulnerability remediation.
• Be familiar with applications related to network and topology mapping.
• Previous Experience with STIG Viewer and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) tools.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Candidate must have 10 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 3 years of experience OR Masters and 4 years, bachelor's and 6 years, Associates and 8 years or HS and 10 years.
• Must comply with DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.
• Clearance Required: Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly.

Pay Range*: $60-$70 per hour.
