Immediate long term contract opportunity for Configuration Management Analyst / Release Management Coordinator with direct client in Tallahassee, FL.

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Configuration Management Analyst / Release Management Coordinator in Tallahassee, FL. The particulars of the position are as follows.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Serve as the Release Management Coordinator and be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing the processes related to releasing code to production or shared systems in accordance with agency standards.
• Coordinate release management activities between multiple vendors, ensure all release management processes have been followed, and all evidence is properly documented within the Application Lifecycle Management tool.
• Coordinate and configure ALM to capture and document evidence for all release management activities.
• Use automation tools for change management tasks.
• Assist with implementing and standardizing IT service management efforts, and the standardization of processes across multiple vendors.
• Ensure IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices are defined and maintained to improve service levels and availability.
• Coordinate multiple teams to ensure tasks are completed to align with the release schedule.
• Assist with Operations and Maintenance activities associated with existing and future Program system modules by assisting in the creation of change requests, scheduling change requests and receiving approvals for submitting change requests for the vendors; and
• Perform other duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Four (4) years of technical development experience preferably related to health policy and delivery systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, the Microsoft 365 Office Suite, and familiar with project management software development tools.
• Knowledge of Jira, Artifactory and Bitbucket.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with technical and non-technical staff, at all levels of management.
• Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
• Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including Change Management, Release Management and Service Asset and Configuration Management.
• Knowledge of Release Management principles and the release management lifecycle including scheduling and coordinating releases across multiple vendors and applications.
• Knowledge of change management principles and practices, change control board activities and change request processing.
• Proficient in release management principles, methods, techniques, and tools for the effective management of projects from initiation through project closure.
• Knowledge of basic management principles and practices, methods of data collection and analysis; and
• Ability to organize risks and issues for presentation in reports, documents, and other written materials.
