Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Communicates with internal educational departments to determine the educational needs of the financial advisors and the appropriate programs related to those needs.
+ Collaborates with internal departments to promote educational programs to the financial advisors and their support staff.
+ Manages relationships and functions as single point of contact for partner companies as it pertains to educational venues available with Raymond James and the financial advisors.
+ Establishes and makes recommendations to senior management on criteria surrounding event participation.
+ Collaborates with other areas of the company to deliver these expectations and criteria to partner companies as well as other initiatives related to the partner relationship.
+ Manages conference content with partner companies, industry speakers, home office and financial advisor presenters.
+ Communicates and coordinates event participation opportunities to partner companies. Manages all aspects of these events including coordination of guest speakers, coordination of partner locations and set-up at the various educational venues and function as on-site partner support.
+ Coordinates and hosts partner visits to the international headquarters to promote the strategic initiatives of Raymond James and foster and promote working relationships with financial advisors and other areas of the company.
+ Communicates company’s educational business needs to partner companies.
+ Maintains current knowledge on new partner educational materials and make recommendations to management on appropriate materials to promote through conference venues or the Creating Client Advocates web site.
+ Coordinates the review of recommended partner educational materials with the Compliance department to ensure they meet regulatory approval prior to being made available to financial advisors
+ Represents Raymond James at various partner company meetings and events.
+ Provides reporting information to partner companies upon request.
+ Manages the partner invitation list and coordinate invitation process with members of the sales management team.
+ Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

+ Operating standard office equipment and using required software application to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, spreadsheets, and databases.

+ Use appropriate interpersonal styles and communicate effectively and professionally, both orally and in writing, with internal and external client’s at all organizational levels, and with all levels of expertise in the securities industry, to accomplish objectives.

+ Use independent judgment to make decisions.
+ Stay abreast of developments in the field, both inside and outside of the organization.
Education/Previous Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent in a related discipline and four (4) years of experience in the financial services industry with specific exposure to financial advisor duties and challenges preferred.
+ OR ~
+ Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
Licenses/Certifications
+ SIE required provided that an exemption or grandfathering cannot be applied
+ Series 7 or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Bachelor’s: Accounting, Bachelor’s: Business Administration, Bachelor’s: Finance
Work Experience
Manager Experience - 7 to 12 months
