About the Job
This position ensures the appropriate communication is being directed to the ConDC Hub operation as well as external suppliers in the event of quality events. This role serves as liaison between ConDC Hub and ConDC Warehouse and USMCA RDCs regarding product quality issues, and corrective actions. You will be responsible for managing quality related events with the USMCA RDC's as well as shop floor employees regarding error rate, coaching, counselling, and corrective action. Monitor and measure KPI performance at every level and manage the carrier quality performance. This position is part of ConDC management team responsible for leading direct reports and shop floor, including disciplinary leadership. Lastly, you will be responsible for managing the reverse logistics process between NAFTA RDC and ConDC Warehouse, ConDC Warehouse and the ConDC Hub, as well as ConDC Warehouse and Parts Suppliers.
This role has a direct impact on the ready availability of USMCA produced Aftersales spare parts fort BMW Group in USMCA. This includes proper quality and quantity. This responsibility also includes management of
all logistics processes within the ConDC Warehouse, including continuous improvement, documentation of work instructions, and correct action. This position is responsible for all inventory management activities.
Relocation is available for this position. This role requires full time attendance in the office.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or business experience equivalence.
- 5 years logistics/distribution experience
- Prior management/supervision experience
- Lean Management and process documentation experience
Preferences
- OEM experience
- Experience with managing transportation partners or other service providers preferred.
- Additional skills: special skills / technical ability etc.
- Experience with Distribution Center Operational Process Execution and Engineering.
- Knowledge of the general warehouse industry, best practices and techniques.
- Aptitude for or experience with vehicle technology and systems.
- Experience in Quality Management Systems and Audits.
- Experience leading teams within a production facility environment.
- Experience with labor planning and resource management.
- Ability to lead teams, strong people leadership skills, teambuilding and organizational management.
- Counselling and coaching skills for improving performance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

The pay range for this role is: $91,500.00 - $107,600.00.
The selected candidate's education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
