Burlington Concrete & Asphalt Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Foundation Foreman to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of concrete foundation projects. As a Foreman, you will lead a crew of workers, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in the successful completion of commercial, industrial, and residential concrete foundation work, ensuring that all projects meet design specifications and client expectations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Working Foreman who can supervise, direct, and coordinate the activities of the concrete foundation crew, ensuring that all work is performed safely, on time, and according to project specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and structural drawings to accurately execute the foundation layout.
Plan daily tasks for crew members and allocate resources to ensure efficient project progress.
Ensure proper setup, forming, and pouring of concrete foundations, including footings, slabs, and walls.
Oversee the installation and alignment of formwork, rebar, and anchor bolts according to design plans.
Monitor project progress and address any issues or challenges that may arise on-site, working closely with project managers and engineers to find solutions.
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all work meets company standards and complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
Train and mentor crew members, ensuring that safety protocols are followed, and professional development is encouraged.
Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors to ensure timely delivery of materials and successful project milestones.

The ideal candidate should possess:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in concrete foundation work, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
Strong knowledge of concrete foundation construction techniques, materials, and best practices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, structural plans, and project specifications.
Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a crew toward project success.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with crew members, project managers, clients, and subcontractors.
Thorough understanding of safety protocols and building codes.
Proficient in the use of construction tools, equipment, and machinery related to concrete foundation work.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Full Time
