ST. CROIX CONSTRUCTION, INC. is seeking a dedicated Concrete Form Carpenter to join our dynamic team. The Carpenter will be responsible for the installation of form materials and equipment for various construction projects, working independently, in small teams, or supervising laborers. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork to ensure all projects meet our high standards.

- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Participate in safety and incident investigations and report any unsafe working conditions or accidents to the Site Foreman immediately.
- Maintain a 10-hour OSHA Certification.
- Team Collaboration:
- Follow the direction of the Site Foreman and Management Team to complete tasks efficiently.
- Foster a positive team environment by promoting teamwork and resolving any issues among crew members.
- Formwork Installation:
- Install all types of concrete forms, including footings, walls, beams, columns, shelves, chamfers, keyways, and waterstops.
- Apply form oil to panels before and after installation and clean all edges and faces of the forms after use.
- Brace forms to prevent misalignment, and install necessary stops, shelves, and anchor bolts according to specifications.
- Align and plumb formwork using the appropriate levels and tools.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all formwork is properly installed, cleaned, and maintained to meet quality standards.
- Assist with wall stripping and form cleaning, ensuring panels are undamaged and ready for reuse.
- Monitor and report any materials or equipment needing replacement or repair to the Site Foreman.
- Equipment and Material Management:
- Ensure all tools and equipment are accounted for, maintained, and stored properly at the end of each day.
- Report any equipment damage or loss immediately to the Site Foreman.
- Keep the job site organized, storing all materials and equipment in designated areas and covering them when necessary.
- Proven experience as a Concrete Form Carpenter or similar role in construction.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of performing strenuous tasks in various weather conditions.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Required to bring necessary tools, including a hammer, tape measure, hard hat, steel toe work shoes, eye protection, hearing protection, and gloves.
