SUMMARY:
The Concierge provides guests with an excellent experience for the duration of their stay by welcoming them upon arrival at the hotel and recommending hotel and local amenities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcome guests and residents upon arrival.
- Act as the point of reference for guests who need assistance or information and attend to their wishes and requirements.
- Uses hotel applications given to streamline communication.
- Promotes in-house F&B and wellness venues. Assist guests with reservations.
- Understand customer’s needs and provide them with personalized solutions by suggesting activities and facilities provided by the hotel.
- Acquire extensive knowledge of the premises and the nearby venues and businesses to make the most suitable recommendations.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guests’ requests are met.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out.
- Arrange events, excursions, transportation, etc. upon request from hotel residents.
- Answer the phone and make reservations, take, and distribute messages or mail and redirect calls.
- Maintain updated knowledge of assets specific to the company’s needs.
- Perform any other duties requested by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a concierge; experience in customer service or relevant role is an advantage.
- Condo/Hotel experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of hotel management systems.
- Able to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Customer Service Oriented.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
EDUCATION:
- High School degree, GED or Equivalent.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish (preferred).
REASONING ABILITY:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, associates, and external partners.
- Ability to work well under pressure and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.
