CONCESSION STAND
ASSISTANT MANAGER
(Early-May to Early September)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum age 18 years. Prefer one year of college and one year of food handling experience.
JOB SUMMARY:
Assist concession manager with daily activities of the concession stand and staff including but not limited to: food prep, customer service, cash handling, inventory control, product ordering, pricing, supply restocking, facility upkeep, staff supervision/scheduling, seasonal opening/closing of facility and enforcement of county/city policies and codes.
SUPERVISION:
Report directly to Concession Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Responsible, courteous, good communication skills, accurate cash handling skills, good work ethic, food handling experience, work independently and supervision of staff.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Food prep and service in accordance with Health Dept. regulations and guidelines.
- Correctly operating all foodservice equipment
- Proper food handling procedures
- Prepare and Cook food
- Cash handling
- Accurate Count of startup and ending monies
- Accurate change counting
- Accurate sales transactions
- Communicate with staff and customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Inventory control
- Monitor supply levels.
- Assist with ordering of supplies.
- Daily restocking of merchandise.
- Facility Upkeep
- Monitor cleanliness of concession stand area and equipment
- Enforce all rules and regulations
- Supervision of concession stand staff.
- Enforce all rules and regulations regarding attire, hygiene, food handling, money and customer service as set forth by county or city.
- Assist in training and supervision of staff to ensure high level of customer service.
- Comply with City of Troy and County regulations and policies.
- Any other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
COMPENSATION:
Seasonal work hours are determined by pool operation hours.
Must be able to work at least 20 hours per week
STARTING SALARY: $15.00/HR
