Concession Attendant-Harvey's Hut
(Season begins early-May to early-September)
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum age 16 years - Preferred
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the daily duties of the concession stand and aquatic center including but not limited to: food prep, customer service, cash handling, inventory control, merchandise and supply restocking, and facility upkeep.
SUPERVISION:
The Seasonal Concession Staff will report directly to the Assistant Manager and/or Concession Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Responsible, courteous, good communication skills, accurate cash handling skills, good work ethic and ability to work without close supervision. Must possess a sense of pride and accomplishment with one's work
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Food prep and service in accordance with Health Dept. regulations and guidelines.
- Correctly operating all foodservice equipment
- Proper food handling procedures -Standard Operating Procedures
- Cash handling
- Accurate count of start-up and ending monies
- Accurate change counting
- Accurate sales transactions
- Communicate with other staff and customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Inventory control
- Daily restocking of merchandise.
- Facility Upkeep
- Daily and continuous cleaning of concession stand area and equipment
- Enforce all rules and regulations with patrons
- Assist with special events and facility operations.
- Comply with City of Troy and County regulations and policies.
- Any other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
COMPENSATION:
Work hours are determined by pool operation hours
HOURS
Summer Seasonal-must work a minimum of 15 hours per week
STARTING SALARY: $13.00 /HR
