Job Description
*This role is 100% on site.
Turner & Townsend Heery are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designer to join our team. The CAD Designer will create detailed design drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar programs. The CAD Designer will work closely with other members of the design team to produce accurate, high-quality designs that meet the needs of the project.
Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designer Duties and Responsibilities
- Create detailed design drawings using CAD software.
- Work with other members of the design team to ensure the accuracy of designs.
- Evaluate existing designs and develop new and improved designs.
- Provide technical support and advice to other members of the design team.
- Troubleshoot design issues.
- Ensure design drawings meet industry standards and specifications.
- Maintain documentation of designs.
Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designer Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, computer science, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in CAD design.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
