LIfestyle Compounding, LLC is a newly opened 503a Compounding Pharmacy focused on integrative health. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Compounding Pharmacist to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. The successful candidate will be responsible for working in a sterile and non-sterile drug compounding environment, preparing medications and maintaining accurate records.
The ideal qualified candidate prepares, compounds, dispenses and sells prescriptions and other pharmacy related products. Responsible for the operation of the Compounding Pharmacy, including following all state and federal regulations governing it. Provides excellent customer service and manages/monitors the staff.

The ideal qualified candidate prepares, compounds, dispenses and sells prescriptions and other pharmacy related products. Responsible for the operation of the Compounding Pharmacy, including following all state and federal regulations governing it. Provides excellent customer service and manages/monitors the staff.
- Duties and Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
- Preparing, compounding, dispensing, and selling prescriptions and Pharmacy-related products including category 2 or 3 (formerly high risk) sterile, HD, Sterile HD, and non-sterile compounding pursuant to USP Chapters 795, 797, & 800
- Managing personnel and their performance
- Providing counseling, education, and excellent customer service to patients
- Consulting with physicians and nurses regarding pharmaceutical questions
- Monitoring inventory levels and the storage, distribution, and use of pharmaceuticals
- Maintaining records of all transactions as required by applicable state and federal laws and regulations
- Documenting and reporting medication errors
- Complying with all federal and state laws applicable to confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) and electronic protected health information (EPHI); and understanding and following HIPAA guidelines
- Properly disposing of hazardous waste drugs
- Overseeing return to stock processing and following recall procedures
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Maintaining a positive and respectful work environment
Qualifications and Education:
- PharmD from an accredited educational institution
- Active New Mexico Pharmacy License
- Compounding experience in category 2 or 3 sterile, HD, Sterile HD, and non-sterile pharmacy products
- Not on the Officer of Inspector General Excluded Parties List
- No convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances
- Excellent leadership qualities and ability to manage
- Ability to perform accurately and oversee data entry, compounding & dispensing of medications, maintaining proper inventory, patient counseling and other related skills.
- Ability to act as a team player
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to build relationships and network
- Strong computer skills to operate pharmacy management software and other necessary programs
- Knowledge of inventory control and pharmaceutical chemistry and methods
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding pharmacy
