Responsibilities:
Lead and Inspire: Lead our vibrant Compounding Department across two energetic shifts, guiding our talented team of leaders, operators, and technical support.
Sync with Success: Masterfully schedule compound production to sync seamlessly with our Molding schedule, ensuring smooth operations.
Inventory Wizardry: Manage raw material inventory like a pro, ensuring we're always primed and ready to rock the Compounding schedule.
Innovate with Impact: Collaborate closely with our Molded Products R&D team to cook up cutting-edge compounds that elevate quality and slash costs.
Champion Our Values: As a senior leader in the Swan Business, embody our core values of Safety, Integrity, Customer Centricity, Performance Culture, Teamwork & Agility in every move you make.
Vendor Visions: Team up with Purchasing to evaluate prospective new vendors, and lend your expertise in hammering out quality requirements and pricing negotiations.
Push Boundaries: Drive programs to pioneer new materials, manufacturing techniques, or products, keeping your finger on the pulse of industry developments.
Safety Sentinel: Take an active role in championing environmental, health, and safety initiatives throughout our company, leading by example.
Technical Trailblazer: Serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME), lighting the way for our sales and marketing managers with your expertise on product specifications and programs.
Requirements:
- Leadership Luminary: Five years or more of progressive management or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills:
Excel Expertise: A knack for navigating the Microsoft Excel universe with finesse.
Compression Molding Magic: Experience in the wizardry of Compression Molding.
Compounding Capabilities: If you've got experience in Compounding, that's music to our ears!
