Compounder at Manpower

Our client, a leader in the chemical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Compounder to join their team. As a Compounder, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Compounder

Location: Van Nuys, CA

Pay Range: $24 per hour

What's the Job?

• Accurately measure and mix raw material ingredients according to specified formulas and instructions.
• Retrieve assigned formulas and review information for compounding, ensuring timely processing of orders.
• Manually add raw materials by weight, ensuring the proper sequence of mixing.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas while adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
• Advise the supervisor of any equipment issues and participate in year-end inventory.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalency (GED) required.
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial work experience required; chemical compounding experience preferred.
• Prior forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle various chemicals safely.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
