Job Opportunity: Value Engineering Lead/Manager
Location: Raleigh, NC

Contract Duration: 6+ Months (with potential for extension)

Are you passionate about driving cost-saving initiatives and improving product performance? We are seeking a Value Engineering Lead/Manager with an aerospace background to join our team in Raleigh, NC.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement value engineering projects, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and drive continuous improvement in product quality, efficiency, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive cost-saving initiatives through value engineering analysis.
• Analyze component performance and recommend improvements.
• Investigate and optimize the cost of current production BOMs.
• Mitigate EOL requests by identifying alternate materials.
• Push value engineering opportunities through ECN and Keysheet updates.
• Coordinate and follow up on required VE/CE technical testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in value engineering or component analysis.
• Proficiency with TeamCenter Product Life Management tools.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with electricity metering products, battery-powered devices, low power designs, and AMR/AMI systems is a plus.
