We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Component Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. Our ideal candidate will be a versatile and innovative engineer, with a strong background in Defense Manufacturing, CAD, Schematic capture, and Product Design. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a team of seasoned professionals and contribute to the design and development of advanced manufacturing components.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Component Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Designing and developing components for manufacturing, using CAD and schematic capture.
2. Working closely with the defense manufacturing team to ensure all components meet strict industry and company standards.
3. Collaborating with the Product Design team to integrate components into final product designs.
4. Conducting rigorous dicing, probing, and testing of components to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
5. Continually researching and implementing new techniques and technologies to improve component design and manufacturing processes.
6. Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
7. Ensuring all work complies with relevant industry regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of a 4-year degree in Engineering, preferably with a focus on Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in component engineering within the manufacturing industry.
3. Demonstrated expertise in Defense Manufacturing, CAD, Schematic capture, and Product Design.
4. Proven experience with dicing, probing, and testing processes.
5. Strong technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering issues.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
7. A strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
