About the Job
Support Operations Manager, ODMS (Operating Discipline Management System) Coordinator and EH&S (environmental health and safety) Manager by performing and reporting on compliance inspections and checks required by Dow specific systems and processes, including but not limited to Tririga Maintenance Management System, SAP Maintenance Management System, GMISS, GMIM, CTT and EH&S Housekeeping Checklist. Fully interact with Operations Manager/EH&S Team/ODMS Coordinator/Tririga & SAP Planners/FM Teams/Building Technicians/Engineers/Planners in the coordination and performance of these inspections following schedule requirements.
Essential Job Duties:
- Ensure all compliance inspections are coordinated, completed, and properly reported to Operations Manager/EH&S Team/ODMS Coordinator/Tririga & SAP Planners/FM Teams/Building Technicians/Engineers/Planners in required timelines.
- Take proactive role in finding needed changes/improvements to the Compliance systems.
- Support Operations Manager and ODMS Coordinator with added duties as appropriate.
- Support operational reporting requirements for compliance activities.
- Must be able to physically navigate the facilities to conduct inspections. Inspections will encompass most of the working day.
- Create and keep tracking sheets and/or logs of all activity related to facility inspections and compliance checks.
Skills, Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Post-secondary coursework or training in facilities management, environmental science, or building trades or equivalent on-the-job experience needed
- Able to communicate well, verbally and in writing, and have strong reading comprehension and listening skills
- Detail-oriented and analytical with a discerning eye for finding compliance issues during inspections of assigned facilities
- A self-starter who is self-motivated and can find, prioritize, and carry out multiple tasks with safety a priority
- Strong multi-tasking skills and adherence to deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and can learn new systems quickly.
