About You: We are looking for a Compliance Specialist who will identify and eliminate the risks of noncompliance, both externally and internally.

Responsibilities:
- Research and report the organization's compliance with laws and regulations
- Take action in dealing with noncompliance situations and assist in creating realistic plans to overcome them
- Conduct regular audits to identify potential weaknesses and noncompliance situations
- Communicate compliance processes and procedures with upper management, outside regulatory agencies, and company employees (Provide/create training on subjects that need to be performed by people outside of the compliance department)
- Research and advise on the process of liens, lien-waivers, and pre-liens
- Onboard and house all Local Service Providers (LSP) and Subcontractors
- Maintain and audit LSP and Subcontractor Master Service Agreements and Certificates of Insurance
- Responsible for union bonding
- Research and maintain current state business and compliance licenses
- Research, maintain, and audit employee certifications and licenses
- Process background checks on prospective clients and prospective manufacturers
- Maintain agency compliance
Qualifications
- Background as a Paralegal or Legal Administrative Assistant is preferred
- Industry experience a plus
- Self-starter with the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Excellent research skills
- Risk assessment skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent reconciliation, logistical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with diverse groups
- Superior customer service skills with internal and external customers
- Proficient in MS Office
