DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working at or with a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL).
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as UL, CSA, IEC, and ATEX
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in compliance processes
WHAT WILL YOUR SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?
As Compliance Manager, you will ensure their HVAC equipment complies with regulatory standards, and certifications are paramount. Collaborating closely with the engineering department, your role will involve managing technical files, coordinating projects with regulatory agencies, and facilitating audits. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing product and manufacturing alterations to guarantee adherence to pertinent standards. Moreover, you will organize onsite testing schedules, oversee service contracts for tagging machines, and maintain meticulous documentation.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Evaluate existing processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement in compliance practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure compliance requirements are met throughout product development and production phases.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Develop and implement compliance training programs to educate employees on relevant regulations and best practices.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and coordinate responses to inquiries and requests for information.
- Stay informed about regulations and industry standards changes and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Uses experience and education to perform the types of activities that are generally considered within the realm of North American HVAC and hazardous locations standards, certification, and regulatory compliance to all internal, US, and other international requirements
